Getting Started

How do I create an account?
Open Tikko and tap "Sign Up." Enter your email and create a password. You'll receive a confirmation email — tap the link to verify your account.

How do I record a voice memo?
Tap the + button on the Home tab, then select Voice Memo. Optionally select a lead, then tap the red record button. When you're done, tap stop. The app will transcribe your memo on-device and (on Pro) extract a summary, key details, and follow-ups automatically.

How do I add a lead?
Tap +New Lead, or import leads from a CSV/XLSX file via +Import. You can also forward emails to your Tikko import address or use the iOS Share Extension from other apps.

AI Features

What does the AI do?
After you record a voice memo, AI analyzes the transcript to extract a summary, key details (budget, timeline, team size), follow-up actions with suggested dates, and sentiment. It works automatically on Pro and Business Line tiers.

Is my audio sent to the cloud?
No. Speech recognition runs entirely on your device using Apple's built-in technology. Only the text transcript is sent to our servers for AI analysis. Your raw audio recordings never leave your device.

What about photo notes?
Photos are processed on-device using Apple's Vision framework for text recognition (OCR). Your images are never uploaded — only the extracted text is synced.

What is the AI Chat?
The Chat tab lets you ask questions about your pipeline, draft follow-up messages, or get coaching advice. It has access to your leads and recent interactions to give personalized answers.

Subscription Plans

Free — Up to 50 leads, 5 AI transcriptions/month, 20 chat messages/month. Includes pipeline management, follow-up reminders, and lead import.

Pro — $9.99/month — Unlimited leads and AI transcriptions, 500 chat messages/month, AI insights and coaching, smart daily call list, suggested follow-up messages, and priority support.

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Privacy & Data

How do I delete my data?
Go to Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete All Data to remove all server-side data while keeping your account. To delete your account entirely, use Settings → Delete Account.

Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored locally on your device (SwiftData) and synced to our secure cloud (Supabase, hosted on AWS with encryption at rest). Audio recordings and photos stay on-device only.

Can I export my data?
Yes. Go to Settings → Export Data to download your leads, interactions, and follow-ups as CSV files.

Troubleshooting

Voice memo transcription isn't working
Make sure you've granted microphone and speech recognition permissions in Settings → Tikko. Transcription requires an internet connection for the initial language model download, but works offline after that.

I'm not receiving the confirmation email
Check your spam/junk folder. If you still don't see it, go back to the sign-in screen and tap Resend. If the issue persists, contact us at support@tikko.ai.

The app says I've reached my free limit
Free accounts include 5 AI transcriptions and 20 chat messages per month. Limits reset on the 1st of each month. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited transcriptions and 500 chat messages.
